MAGGIE BURROWS
DIRECTOR
My name is Maggie Burrows and I am Director of Foundation Ministries. I joined FM in 2010 as a Committee Member. When former Director, Eleanor Burton, felt led by God to another ministry, God used the scriptures in the book of Joshua to call me to “possess the land,” hence my appointment to Director in 2011.
To give you a little of my background, I was formerly a Nurse and then trained as a Social Worker. I have an Advanced Diploma in secular Counselling and laterally a Diploma in Christian Counselling.
I firmly believe that my man-made ability through qualifications are not what equips me for service but rather my availability to enter into what God has called me to do. It is a privilege to serve God and my community in this very valuable service and I believe entirely in the scriptural text from which we derived our name.

All our counsellors are trained through the Vital Connexions, two-year diploma in Christian Counselling. We have a relationship specialist counsellor and a supervisor with a recognised diploma in supervision.
